A lot of it has to do with how you communicate with your DM and getting on the next load.

Your DM has goals just like you do as a driver. He knows who his runners are, who figures out how to get loads delivered(I’ve paid $20 to a receiver to get a load delivered before closing)

I run no less than 660 miles a a day. I often average 700+. I’ve done as many as 730 in a day. You prove yourself as a runner and you’ll make the miles.. if I’m in calexico on Monday morning with a load going 2000 miles. It will be there by Wednesday early afternoon.

DMs are in TN, but you can be dispatched out of Laredo, El Paso, or Nogales depending on the area you are delivering in.

I was just curious because I pass them all the time on I-30. Was curious how that one pilgrim could do 730 miles in one of those trucks. I guess it’s *possible* if he drove until his clock expired.

    THE ROOKIE Thanks this.
  11. Where is the location of the drop yard in Atlanta ?
