Any new info on the new pay system? Having some second thoughts and wondering how it will pan out for new drivers. If they would consider a midnight Monday cutoff, that might make it a little easier. Just seems like a long time to get that first decent check. Orientation on 1/7, get rolling 1/10...cutoff 1/12 and get paid 1/25... There's going to be a very big difference in checks as well if they keep that Sat cutoff. Pondering... What are other drivers thinking?

Why does it matter when the cutoff time is?
You will still make the same amount of money.

I've had an Xbox in my truck for 2 years now that I barely get to use, so it'll be a nice change of pace.

    See you there.

Cut off doesnt matter. They want the trip sheet and what not preferably within 24 hours. Money rolls over man.

It matters with the first check... and that’s what he’s saying. If the first trip ends after the cutoff you end up waiting 2 more weeks. If you’ve been out of work before going to orientation it could be a stressful... and a long wait to get paid....
When I was there, payroll was super nice about adding a trip after the cutoff if you didn’t do it all the time. Not sure about now....

I get paid weekly now. It still makes me laugh after going almost 4 years at Magnum with every two weeks... seems like I’m always getting paid....
My boss blew me away yesterday. I got a $850 Christmas bonus.... 1st time in my life I got a Christmas bonus....

    Dang! That's some serious cash!

Also yeah the long wait for that first paycheck can really make things stressful. Especially since that first pay check won't be the greatest, only including orientation pay and possibly some reimbursements. I forget how much that is.

Ugh don't get me started on that pita....all for weekly pay...just didn't like now things were communicated for the transition. It's holiday season and getting blindsided with that is got me on edge...wanted to go out of town and calculating things up it's looking grim. Now if they had of said something at the beginning of the month I could've stashed up a few more coins. So right now....someone is on the #### list with me.
