Yes. When you are driving along twisty mountain roads, and see that the road is showing shear cracks, and a few seconds later, you see a new retaining wall supporting the roadbed, then realize that the entire road simply fell off the mountain...

Meh. To our younger or new drivers tuning in that wonder, " Yea, but when is it REALLY F snowing?"

When you have to stop to remove the snow and ice from the F wiper blades so you can see.

    Elk today.

Lol... I came through that part of the country yesterday. I only had 18k in the box and wind was blowing 45+ with gusts pushing 60, so I took US30.
Left Wamsutter this morning at 0230 and made it to Ogden at 0800, then headed for the barn. From Little America to the Idaho line was crappy. Blowing snow and slick roads, with heavy snowfall all the way through Utah. And the Twin Sisters were really slick, I followed a plow over both, giving him plenty of space. I was a little spooked going so slow, afraid some idiot would come barreling down the hill behind me and run up my backside.

It was bad windy around Elk. That little Garden of Eden between Rawlins and Laramie just never disappoints.

That's why my wipers got wiped out. Came down so hard, then completely sideways, then froze under the blades lol.

Yeah I run that every week, it aint bad with a good heavy load. But if you're light you best know what your doing. Even US30 yesterday was pretty bad, several areas of high winds blowing snow. I always listen to the weather band when approaching that stretch. They broadcast the wind speeds along I80 and I25 on a loop, updated every hour. And always have my CB turned on.
