It totally is because you get a day and a half off paid. It’s getting rewarded for a hard week

    Upinsmoke and atruckr Thank this.

Keep posting and I will follow this thread. I am on Hometime now, you are absolutely right about everyone can say anything about a trucking company, more money, or this or that. However what it boils down to is what is the right fit for the driver and drivers family. I came to ShipEx because of the fit, the pay, the Hometime structure, the Salary.

It was the right fit for my Family and Myself.

I pass your trucks quite frequently. For the most part, the drivers are courteous, and the equipment, mostly Freightliners, seems to be late model and well kept.

Do you know if there are any Kentuckians working there? Kentuckians are my favorite!

Upinsmoke, Lonesome and atruckr Thank this.

So got a nice surprise this weekend. My paycheck was couple hundred bucks more..Yayyy! Something I either forgot about in orientation or they just started doing. Apparently if you work on Thanksgiving and/or Christmas you get an holiday bonus! Nice... I wasn't planning Christmas to be working but because of family emergency the weeks prior i stayed out on Christmas. That was very cool of them.

    Upinsmoke and mattbh23 Thank this.

Another cool surprise.. Delivered that Ogden UT to Santa Fe Springs load. DM and i were talking about my remaining hours and not much coming in the recap hrs, so he said why don't you do a 34 reset. I'm like.." ok do you realize I'll be close to home so i can go home and do my reset"? "He said yes of course". Awesome! So im at home just a kicken it with my grandson today.

I have scheduled a week off coming January 16th so they might have put me over here to run me in the western region to get me home on time. Will see what happens. I know i live in a good place for them to get me home. Usually i bring a load from Salt Lake but we have loads from Texas and Ohio that come to my house too.

    Trucking on!

Upinsmoke, mattbh23, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.
