Don't know if it still works but back in the late 80's when we went on our one and only cruise.....get one of them fellas that fetch your drinks and start negotiating.....

If we bought a case of beer at a time he'd ice it down in a big tub and throw in a extra six. Case of beer was $75. Those little fruity drinks are like 12.

Old horse trader like you can probably do better.

Be sure, if you haven’t, to meet the captain at one of those black tie events. Drinks are on him.

 

I would get off the ship with swim towel, go to a convenience store on an island and get 2 cases dirt cheap, wrap them in the towel and carry them back on. BTW, the liquor store is duty free. Booze is freakin cheap.

 

Our bar bill was $435 on a three day cruise for mama and I.

 

Captain's dinner was the only thing we went to that the drinks were free. Had to get spiffied up. That was the only thing we went to that I wore my tux.

 

So who steers the ship when the captain is getting plastered?

Was that Price due to extreme Thirst or Flatout getting bent over?

 

Well looks like TripleSix was right. Finally talked to Bilbo this afternoon...looks like Im gtg *crosses fingers* they're just waiting on 1 former employer to confirm my employment tomorrow.

My boss also needs me to drop off a couple trucks tomorrow. 1 down in Kenedy and 1 out in Del Rio.
