The product costs $x.00. Loves has to store it on their shelf space for months. That space costs money. The product must earn its keep.

I must be the only one affected by corporate actions like this. As a first year O/O, the difference between paying 10 bucks for something I can get for a buck-fifty, (if I'm able to wait a couple of days for FedEx to deliver), is huge. And yes, I regularly drop my trailer at one of these truck stops and bobtail my *ss right over to the cheaper fuel a few miles down the road. I'm not exaggerating when I say 75 cents a gallon cheaper sometimes. It's worth my time. That's $150 on the 200 gallons I can hold. That 150 turns into 750 over a week and that $750 becomes my truck payment. Maybe if we stopped being willing to pay for convenience they would get the message.

Shouldn't we all complain about paid parking? And tolls. And freight rates and diesel prices? Does the squeaky wheel not get the grease or are you doing so well that your wheels never squeak? Try to remember your first year in business for yourself and see if you recall just how big a difference even a few dollars makes. Wow.

If this is your understanding of how businesses work, you should have never got into the business of trucking.

Dale thompson, Long FLD and scottied67 Thank this.

Why don't you go park where you're buying the fuel for .75 cheaper? Huh, why not? Is it because it's a sh!@# hole dump with 1 filthy shower, gravel lot with potholes, fuel bays with diesel spilled everywhere and never cleaned up, or do you have another reason you ##### and complain about loves but then use them for parking.

Yes. They should sell all products and services at cost. They should also open 15 new $5 million dollar truck stops every year and provide free parking for all for up to 4 days.

I know you’re being facetious, but they actually are doing 2 of the 3 things you mentioned.
Apparently that’s not enough for some.
