Good Morning Gentlemen from an undisclosed location somewhere west of the Mississippi.

 

Took a break from catering . . .

Pulled the trigger on a few repairs. Rear main structure has had a little leak for a while. Range H-L has been sluggish and sticky. Clutch fork bearings are a bit worn - probably weren’t re-bushed at the time the reman trans was installed 450k ago.

So . . .

Rebuild trans - swap input gears for 1850 torque.
Reseal rear main structure.
Rear main seal.
Surface flywheel and new clutch.
Clutch fork bushings.
Rear motor mounts
New fuel lines, and any other lines while we’re in there.

New alternator and belts
Vibratech damper and balancer

Full tilt exhaust manifold
New turbo.

There. That ought do it.
Any other items while we’re messing with trannies?
