I was hired by JB as an O/O. Went to orientation in Louisville where the folks are decent enough. Left on a Thursday without a trailer as my CC/FM assured me I would get on by Monday. He left out on Friday - going to school for a week - (guess to learn how to mess over drivers better) so that come Monday, I still had no trailer.
Along with technical issues that prevented me from accessing the board to see what loads were available, pay, etc. I sat till the next Thursday. My CC's mgr- Candice wouldn't even help out with this issues.
I had to reach out to higher ups to get anything done but by the time they started working on the problems, I already had truck payments coming out of my bank and was starting to go in the hole. I had to get rolling so I went with another company that did that.
JB had a recruiter named Alex reach out to me about coming back. Still waiting- a week and a half later- for his "promised" return call.
Everyone from Deborah - HR Director- down won't answer the phone or return a call. Lie is all they do. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE at JB. RUN FORREST RUN!!!
JB Hunt LIES and Managers are Spineless..

I was going to ask why an o/o would lease onto a bottom feeder to begin with but, after reading the rest of your post, I found the answer I figured I’d find.

Your first mistake was leasing on.
JB is much better for company drivers. -
Yeah I know. Only reason I went there was I was familiar with how the system worked. I just posted so no other person gets stupid like I did.

Left on Thursday and they assured me they'd find me a trailer by Monday.
Uh, hummmm.Texas_hwy_287, Broke Down 69, Frank Speak and 2 others Thank this. -
Okay boys and girls. The lesson here is don't lease to a company in which you had to wait three days to find a trailer
Texas_hwy_287, mjd4277 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Especially with a outfit that apparently has 30,000 trailers.Texas_hwy_287 and bryan21384 Thank this.

But how does one know that, before they sign on the dotted line? You think the recruiter, or the person running the orientation is going to say "Oh, by the way, we won't have a trailer for you right away, it may take a few days or more. Good Luck!".
Especially when you see JBH trailers just about everywhere.....Broke Down 69 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
while doing some research on trucking companies , i must've accidentally hit a wrong button somewhere and had a JB hunt recruitor calling me about going to work for them
I told them immediately that this job wasn't for me and they are STILL calling me from time to time.
It's like a bad date with a cyco woman that won't leave you alone and go awayLonesome Thanks this.
