All I know in my two decades, no1 and no company cares about you.
They may say they do but your just a truck number to them. They don’t care! You have to do what’s right and protect number 1. You!

Coover, jethro712 and Farmerbob1 Thank this.

Just dont accept preplan and put reason "cannot safely deliver" and give eta that you can deliver.

unsafe and illegal in front of delivery are magic words that they have to acknowledge or they will be held liable. just use sparingly. Soynds kike now is the time.

They must have taken you serious when you told them they weren't running you enough a while back. They trying to make you holler calf rope.

I would say, from personal experience with Crete, don't tell them you are that tired. 1) you'll be slowed way down in terms of miles, and have a hard time getting miles in the future. 2) they may suggest you see a doctor or schedule you for a sleep study. 3) the seasonal winter slowdown is coming.

I worked there almost 10 years, and they have a memory like an elephant...they never forget, and they don't understand what a request for a brief break to catch your breath means. To them, it says they were running you too hard and they'll ease up, permanently.

That's usually what happens...they either run you into the ground or not run at all...they can't seem to get it in the middle..lol

I've found that an effective way to feel better again if I get tired is to go to bed one hour early. So if I normally go to bed at 10 I would go to bed at 9. Then continue to do this until I feel better. So continue to go to bed at 9 until I feel fine.

Well I told them I was sick. Load delivered today and I didn’t move.
Told them I’ll deliver Saturday around 5pm. Sick is sick and I feel sick/dizzy.
Weekend dispatch doesn’t care so hopefully I’ll take the weekend off.
We’re not robots and to see the messages of drivers dying on people’s net (3 times a week) isn’t going to be me. You think Crete will show up at my funeral? lol
Don’t get me wrong, I do like it here but slow and slower for the next few days is what I call the doctors order.
Sleep app, no way! I’m very physically fit. Athletic type.
Tomorrow, Walmart then deliver and then hide. haha
