DO NOT WORK FOR HUBBEL TRANSPORT

They might be everything you say, but YOU, and people like you, are the reason all these scumbag outfits exist.

Let me explain a concept to you. NO ONE can MAKE you do anything.

YOU chose to stay there AFTER you saw their junk trucks. YOU chose to drive the junk. YOU brought the DOT ticket on YOURSELF by driving the junk.

See the common theme there?

 

If they’re giving you junk equipment, that would be a signal that you shouldn’t work for them and RUN,don’t walk away!

 

Too many companies hiring out there to put up with krap equipment. When you saw the condition, maybe say "thanks, but no thanks".

 

I think @Frank Speak hit the nail on the head (or coffin?).

When will people realize that their CDL is THEIR professional license that gives them the authority to operate a CMV on behalf of either themselves or a company? If driving trucks is your chosen trade whereby you earn a paycheck, you had better protect it.

Doctors, lawers, professional engineers, plumbers, electricians, ad infinium all possess professional licenses that allow them to conduct their trade. DO YOU honestly think that they would perform unsafe work practices thereby putting their livelihood in danger? Absolutely not and would rather turn work away than end up jeopardizing their license. You only get ONE chance. And yet, I see truck drivers do this crap all the time and then it’s everyone else’s fault but their OWN. Grow up, become accountable to yourself, be a professional or continue business as usual and work for bottom of the barrel companies that will only hurt YOU in the long run.

Or maybe, just maybe, there is another side to this story? Yes, perhaps the owners became thieves and the trucks became junk AFTER the OP was fired.

No one made you marry them. Gotta protect that cdl. Can't go around just marrying everyone, you'll lose your livelihood. Hasn't Frank taught you anything?

 

Well, all I have to say is don’t come crying in here when you get a DOT ticket for having all them women in your truck.

 

If one or some of them are Kentuckian I’m sure Frank would be more than willing to take them off your hands...lol

 

If this is the company than I would avoid them like the plague. Driver OOS rate is horrendous-and they only have 2 trucks!
