PTL is a DIRT BAG COMPANY and always will be!

 

whats your experience with them?

 

Following up with this post and I ended up lasting around four months with PTL. Overall I enjoyed them leaving me alone and letting me do my job provided I wasn't messing up in which I can say I wasn't. However, their equipment is ultimately why I left. Their trucks quit on me as I'm rolling down the highway and their trailers I had to call into road maintenance almost every other day for something DOT violating, ultimately a safety hazard, breaks, marker lights, DOT bumpers falling off, tires ready to burst afterall they loved using their retreaded tires. However, in the end it cost me thousands of potential earnings and time. What I did gain however was invaluable experience. I had the best trainer I ever had (started out with CR England they're terrible). This company is in it's growing pain stage. It's a second chance company as well. It's a training company and like most training companies they have a bad reputation and high CSA scores. The pay is low, but the EStock 100% employee owned way is not bad if considering retirement after five years you're fully vested.

In conclusion the company is still growing. The grass isn't exactly greener on the other side in regards to other companies as every single company has it's pros and cons.

If I were to rate it on a scale of 1 star or 5 stars I'll go with a solid 3.

any reputation aside... Who is driving a Truck for less than twenty grand a year before taxes? I heard they pay 0.13 a mile after training and cap out at 0.38 for seniority and nobody is getting anywhere close to 3,000 miles a week...

Add that to the rep of always breaking down...

 

PTL drivers are complete idiots! These are some angry caged animals.....avoid them on the road at all costs.

You don’t exceed your stupid little governed speed while going downhill. Then do 40 while your stupid little Tonka truck tries to pull a hill? GTFO the road morons
