    I have chain pulls but I don't like hooking my binders to them. Nothing wrong with that I just prefer the binders to be up a couple inches.

    Hook your chain end and run it through the securement points on the load. Grab the chain on the other side of the securement point from where your hooked to your trailer, bring the chain down hook your binder. Repeat on the other side.

    Thanks Ox, I'm far from the wisest,but I surely enjoy coming into this thread occasionally,and intermingling with a bunch of great guys that seem to really have it together,and all have a common interest. Helping each other out,trucking,and doing it with a sense of humor,for the most part. Nice to see there's still some sanity in this world. We've all got that dam diesel fuel in our veins. I'll keep living my retired alter ego through you guys,keep on trucking,safely.

    @stwik - just in case you didn’t know, don’t forget a strap over forks - if it’s a forklift.

    I check them for anything loose too, people leave blocks of wood and hammers and stuff behind seats.

    I cut a few 20’ down to 10’ for 10k machine , 4 chain situations.

    Man 4 chains per machine sounds like overkill to me... guess I’ll try one chain two binders...
