What do you guys think about Spring ride trailers?

Ride rough, beat up delicate cargo, don't like them. I pulled them for years before air ride became the norm.

 

Fully loaded they ride as good as air ride trailers. Light or empty will kill your back and kidneys. Plus it eliminates the ability of loading fragile freight. I would only buy a spring ride if i needed one asap for a dedicated route and couldn't find an air ride for a reasonable cost.

 

Well we got a trailer. New tires n brakes so cant complain

 

Is Mercer getting springs or air ride

 

Mercer buys springs I will have to look for a New home

 

Think Mercer's are all air ride was looking at couple 2012 trailers but they are spring rides lol

 

All of the bigger players that put trailers on the railway line going to springs ride, air ride don't hold up good on railroads
