Snowville, UT with a 2-stop furniture load headed for Denver. I managed to get through Oregon before the next storm hit but looks like it will catch up with me while I sleep. If it's UGLY in the morning I'll sit here til things improve.

Delivered that load to Tracy yesterday.
Accepted one that picked up in stockton and delivered to red bluff. Planner called and said if I could trade loads with another driver. He had hometime and the load would get him there.
So I said ok
Picked up in lathrop terminal and delivered to salinas.
Then next load picks up in Hayward tomorrow at noon and goes to Irwindale anytime b4 midnight tomorrow.
Thought there would be street parking at shipper so drove here. Nope... no parking signs eveywhere. So drove to target and asked if I could park by the loading docks. Manager said as long as I am not blocking delivery trucks it was ok. Said I was not.
Grapevine been closed 2 nites in a row. So hope I can get thru tomorrow b4 it gets to dark.
Might take hwy 58 over tehachipi if it looks bad -

Northfield, MN at the J.
Came off home time today with a load picking up in WI and delivering in Kansas City tomorrow. I was hoping for a few more miles this week, but it won't be so.
That big storm is between here and there, and there is already heavy snow in IA. By morning it will be here for the rest of the day. That leaves me with a 400 mile week. Oh well.
I wonder if we are getting a taste of the new winter conditions that will prevail into the future.
This year has seen more arctic cold going farther south than any year I can remember. Not to mention these massive storms that affect most of the country,
It's actually rather exciting to be alive during a major climate change.
Even more exciting is the rate of change over the past decade or so, when we have always been told that these things take hundreds to thousands of years to progress even this far.
And from what I have read, a magnetic pole reversal may be fairly close as well. -
Yes I head the planet will flip about 90 degrees. Arctic and Antarctica will be the new tropics. Places that are largely desert now will become fertile breadbaskets and the current breadbaskets will become deserts.
-
This is not a physical pole shift, but a magnetic.
And don't make fun, it has happened many times in the past. Look it up. Actual and verifiable scientific evidence, and it is happening again now. Magnetic north and south are becoming jumbled.
There is no evidence of a sudden physical planetary pole shift or reversal ever happening (as far as I know), unless you take those two accounts of it happening in the Bible. One was a small shift, the other was a total flip.
But, magnetic north has been shifting for some time now. And the magnitude of shift has been increasing more rapidly in the last decade.Alluem Thanks this. -

At the J in Cheyenne. Quite the ride across 84 in Utah then 80 in Wyoming.
I have a 2 stop delivery in Denver then a can load to SoCal. Looks like it will be a chore just to get out of the Rockys with this next winter storm.
