Hi to everyone
I’m just wondering, I would like to be on the road for 2-3 month without home time, and then take time off.
Do company’s line that or not? How much home time can I expect after being on the road for that long?
Thank you guys

Company allow 1 day of home time for every week worked...keep tabs on it because they will act like they dont know...also all companies will not allow the truck to be sitting more then 4 days when they can have someone run that truck to make profits...so when you do decide to take home time the will tell you to clean out your truck witch is a hassle. Your better off getting a 1099 if you decide to take a long break. Riverside trucking allows you to take breaks with there trucks with out puuting you in hole on pauments.

Werner allows for 7 days of home time without turning in equipment. However, staying out for 2-3 months would suck more than you can imagine. Don’t do more than a month out if you value your sanity.

You probably don't have the stamina to stay out months. Then find out you have to fight suddenly a whole company full of people who are really really stubborn in not understanding you want home now. I have lost jobs in the past over stupid home time after two or three months. Ive learned to let them go. If they intend to be that stupid, I don't value them either because it's obvious they don't value me.

I would like to find a company were I get home time ... 14+Days in a row. But looks like it could be difficult

Crete/Shaffer gives 1 day off for every six days out. No limit. So you do the math. 3 months out would get you 2 weeks off.

I don't know about 'allowing'. I do know about paid time off. Haven't gotten any yet.
I do like you're talking. Take time off after two or three months. I'm taking a week right now. Both companies have been more than happy to give me the time off. Especially since it's every 2 or 3 months. Very happy.
I'm planning on trying six months after this week. Don't know? Might take a week after three months.
Oh and btw.... all I've seen on accumulation of time off is for paid time off.Lepton1 and ruckusftlc Thank this. -

A lot of smaller companies would be more than happy to give you that time off if you stayed on the road for months at a time lol
Lepton1 Thanks this.
