Yes, that would require some strong research on your end. I've never heard of 14 days off except special circumstances like emergency medical leave.

It is possible with Crete. Some drivers stay out all year and then take 60 days off. But you cannot bank days so you can only take the days you have earned since you have been out.
Lepton1 and ruckusftlc Thank this. -
I'm a rookie. I stayed out about 14 weeks. I agree about the stamina. Mine is better now because of going through that. I think its a good idea to schedule home time to get you back to the terminal then you can typically keep running if you decide not to take a break. I run my 70 out then take a restart. I will run on recaps for a few days sometimes then restart .Being rested is of utmost importance in my opinion. Just because you have energy doesn't mean you couldn't use some rest. I ended up taking almost 5 full days off after being on the road for 14 weeks and I didn't realize how much I needed it. I didn't even feel tired until the second or third day. Just because you can keep pushing doesn't mean you should. I never drive unless I am alert. Not worth it.

My company is technically 1 day out for every week out but I have done 3 weeks out and 1 week home with nothing said.

My company gives 1.5 days off per week. I go home for 6 days, with 3 weeks running.

Magnum was out 3-4 weeks, take off what you what within reason..... I used to do 3-4 weeks out and 5-7 days off... I know another driver that did 6 weeks out and a week off....
Just ask the companies your interested in. I was NEVER asked to clean out truck even when I went of vacation for 10 days....Truckermania Thanks this. -
Also before taking 4 weeks off I ran about 10 weeks with 0 home time.
For OP just stop by and talk you your future terminal manager before applying. If it's decent company , they will have 0 problem to explain everything to you, cause #### if they will lie and you will quit few month later after starting with them , it's not going to be good for any one. -

You can. But many companies want you to turn in the truck if you’re staying home long, some companies it’s only 4 some will let you stay a week depends on the company. At one side I can understand. The truck is their investment and they want (I should say HAVE) to make money out of it.
