What's your setup? That's a fairly heavy empty weight. I've seen worse but I know some shippers won't touch a truck that can't take 43k and for you that'd be a crap shoot for axle weights.

96 utility 48 foot trailer 15900 2001 wester star constellation 82 in sleeper 20440 full of fuel. any one have a clue what the reffer unit weigh's ?

The older reefers are quite a bit heavier then newer ones. Ours are 2009 feet danes and weight is 17k by your weights is say your trailer is 2k heavier and we run 53'. Sorry for bad typing from my phone here. Also just realized your truck is about 2400lbs heavier than mine as well. Having said that your trailer is probably only 1k heavier but still every pound counts in a reefer.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Anybody running a Volvo 780 with a reefer? Just curious on whay you weigh empty. I'm looking for a new truck and I LOVE that truck but I am really concerned about the weight. I really can't be over 35500 with half tank of fuel - not sure I can do it with a 780.

I scale empty with full tanks at 36,200. So about 43,800 is it for me. 2019 VNL with a 2017 Great Dane 53ft with a Thermo King.
