I read somewhere here that the private fleet is taking over this DC. I know Schneider is still there. Today I saw Pam, Marten, Smith and one other carrrier pulling Walmart reefers within 10 miles of the DC. Anyone know what’s up? Just curious

Nothing had been announced yet, but plenty of rumors.

Most of slack is supposedly gonna be taking over by Martin, wanting to domicile approximately 30 private fleet drivers at 7017

Wouldn't wish my worst enemy to work out if that DC. Went there this week and got a pallet load to grove city, ran out before they changed their mind.

I ran out of there for Schneider back in 2009-2010

I don't know if the fleet will take over 100% but they are giving Schneider the boot. Was told this a few weeks ago.

Before I transferred out of 6017, I talked to the shop about a handful of 2019 and 2020 Cascadias they had. I was told all were going to Wintersville.

Every load I ever pulled from that DC, was heavy as hell, and required a right turn out of the drive.

While Walmart and Schneider turned left. If you’ve been there, you know the drill.

Yikes, taking 43 north is not fun, any shorter time wise, or recommended.

The pumpkin used to route their trucks that way, some of their soupa twuckas thought it was way faster being some 18 miles shorter on paper, until they had to rebuild someone's garage twice on the s curve in Amsterdam.
