Exactly right.
The two biggest mistakes at Mercer
1) wait until empty to start looking for the next load, call ahead to destination agent once dispatched.
2) not developing good relationships with agents.

I think that's because in orientation they teach to use the board not call agents.
-
True story.
I had a couple agents that would look for loads for me if I was stuck. They can use the public boards. -
I figured the freight offerings for Van would be better here than flat out west.
-
Went to WA lol
-
Grabbed a decent load back in to TN. Get to grab me a 34 and burn the tires back to TN lol
-
Generally van freight sucks out west.
Oh gosh. You were in a black hole. Those loads look good going out but it's hard to make money round trip. Best I did out of WA was $1.10 a mile to Texas that weighed 1500 lbs. Only reason I took it was because it was like getting paid to dead head.roshea Thanks this. -
The one I took is paying 1.43 after dh. Its heavy but puts me 2 hours from Louisville lolRStewart Thanks this.

That's really good to get out of WA. Lol. Is this your last Mercer load?
