    Overnighting at a truck rest area behind a very small Shell truck stop in Gordonsville VA. There is a Walmart DC about a mile away. As most of you will agree chickem from a truck stop can be sketchy.

    I'm here to tell all that I just had chicken thighs and slow cooked greens from this little place...it was some of the best fried chicken I have had in years. Who would have guessed that? Simply awesome..Just spreading the word.

    If it is a good meal you are seeking you rarely find it near a big truck stop. I try to find at least one off the beaten path place to eat every month. Thanks for sharing. If I end up that way I’ll have to stop in.
