One of the bigger ones is light switches, or any switch. On is down, off is up. Took me a while to figure it out.

I know a couple of Kiwi guys that re wired their houses here because it did their head in.

How to say ‘garage’ correctly still gets me.

I love these disc brakes but they tear up some aluminum!!

 

It's 15 minutes past the scheduled start time and no one has shown up yet. I called the company I'm applying to and they don't do road tests on weekends, so I know I'm not supposed to be there. Now I'm sitting here in limbo with no idea what to do.

If I drive away and the guy shows up, he'll say I never showed up. I already called the recruiter and left a message. Might just take a picture of myself in front of the building and email her to to prove I was here.

My guess is the guy doing the test forgot he was scheduled to come in. No other explanation.
