Seems like an awful lot of lube to me, but I’ll give it a crack.

That Grubby guy is an expert in the field of lubricant. He specializes though.

    Yeah, trigger snobs....

Although I do have to admit, while combat triggers have heavier pulls as a general rule triggers on AR-15 pattern rifles have just about anything else beat.

From what I’ve read everybody’s “dream rifle” seems to be the semi auto anything with a 3 lb trigger pull that is just as, if not MORE accurate than just about any bolt action and such an animal is about as rare as the unicorn. Everybody wants to be Chris Kyle.

That’s what I thought, but with ARs the wetter the better. Any excess will just burn off when you fire it.

That’s even more important with a precision rifle that’s going to have tighter tolerances.

I don't mind a trigger that's a tad heavy. I don't want any creep in it at all. Nice crisp clean break.

Muscle memory is how you get good. I've dry fired my guns more than I've shot em. Learned that from an old marine

Ok fair enough I just missed the point I guess. You mentioned the 500 Paccar and the 12.7 Detroit I didn’t make the connection to the X15.

Ain’t so sure about that hand. I typically observe more than I type. I’m still in observation mode.

Always keep your goals close to the front of your mind so you dont get distracted and not achieve them.

Mine just happens to park up the highway at the gas station so I get to see it regularly.
