I think you misunderstood me. I am not suggesting you let any redneck with a stick welder at it. I'm talking about real fabrication shops or frame repair shops.

Dealer want's $89 PER shock for my truck. Guess ill order off ebay for $56 lol
-
You are cheating the dealer out of 33 dollars per shock times6 198 dollars ,how can you live with yourselfTruckerPete1990 Thanks this.

The only thing though is that the dealer will give you ( or should ) a 2 year warranty. Ebay might but I'm sure you will be paying for shipping... versus the dealer where you could just show up and swap them out in the parking lot...
Plus Ebay might make you send the old shock back before getting the replacement shipped to you, which could be a week or two process?
Surprisingly when i replaced shocks a couple months ago I got a better deal on them from the dealer than I did from Fleetpride.thaistick and TruckerPete1990 Thank this. -
Not sure on warranty but i know its free shipping and they will be at the house by Thursday.JonJon78 Thanks this.

Which brand did you get?
-
monroes those yellow ones. I've had good luck with them on my trucks
-
I went back to Gabriels from Monroe's, didn't think they were any better or lasted longer...I did get them for $50/each off Amazon so that played a deciding factor.TruckerPete1990 and JonJon78 Thank this.

TruckerPete1990 Thanks this. -
Just a little dirty. Guess I'll sweep it out before I drop it.
