hi I seen an add bout jb hunt local intermodal says home daily and 2 days off and average annual salary of 68000 to 75000 top earners making 85k! This sounds to good to be true but job is in my area and I’m looking for a local gig. Anyone drive a local job for jb? Is it really that good deal?

@UturnGirl is doing intermodal for JB. She should have some good information for you.
FlaSwampRat and asphaltcowboy4x4 Thank this. -
That salary is definitely inflated for the fort worth area where I am. More like 50k. But I know it pays lots better in Chicago area than in fort worth. I guess $$ depends on where you live. My experience is that whatever bottom number they give you is the real number.
As for the job itself, I enjoy it and yes I get 5 days on and 2 off.Bluedew Thanks this. -
I did Jb hunt intermodal out of Atlanta and the pay was $50,000 to $60,000 a year. It might be more now. I know they kept raising the pay and raising it fast they were loosing so many drivers. I would probably still be there but they gave me a new Fm who was a total nut job so I quit and left. Happy I did.
