I'd simply head in. I head in A LOT. I always plan my escape. Try not to park where when you awake real early, the Billy's aren't 4 deep in the driveway do you can't get out.
What if it Snows?

That's why God created the DEF filter.

This is at my customer outside Quebec today (temps were in the low 40's F today).
Some of the neighbors have some serious piles as well
tucker, Lepton1 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Seriously... that’s easier than many of the super tight 90 degrees at pilots. It’s got you half turned already. Just need to use your brain a little. Just a little. Maybe get out and check.lovesthedrive Thanks this.

I was too busy putting a strip of gravel down so that my mailman could get to my mailbox without stopping on the State Highway.[/QUOTE]
That's mighty thoughtful of you Tucker.....something that would never cross Dave's mind. Mighty thoughtful indeed.
So Dave, what's the story on the DEF?
Saw a dude one time pouring diesel down the drain at the Pilot in Breau Bridge. He asked me if I wanted some, and I said no thanks.
He said it had to do with something about his mileage from coast to coast. I didn't understand and went and got a weenie and a Canada Dry. -
6 months ago I would have agreed with you, then I got a new cascadia. The mirrors are so small and set so close to the truck it makes blind siding in a royal pain. I have the hood mirror angled out as much as possible, but once I'm more than 45 degrees truck to trailer I can't see the spot, just my trailer.tucker Thanks this.

What I find fascinating are the newbs whom go into those slots head first. There is no way to see when your ready to leave if doing that.
I am mistaken. It isnt a pilots yet a TA on the I84 near hartford. Tho they have made the parking lot bigger with a dog leg. Been 11 years since I parked there. Real pleasant place.

Dave, you should know by now information gleaned at the drivers table is far superior to anything found in the owners manual. The dumb things drivers do because someone "told" them thats what they should do is darn near infinite.Dave_in_AZ and lovesthedrive Thank this.

Roger, as a trainer, how does one approach a 45? I've been doing this for a while, and I've never once set up properly for a 45. And tips?Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
