Well, maybe he meant they learned to get out the way in that defense I would too. I tell relatives to keep the hell away from truckers they are like Russian roulette. I have seen too many to trust any next to me one minute they in there lane next they took out grandma because he picked up his dam phone and people claim grandma driving was bad well no worries now the commercial driver fixed that issue.

I think they stopped to let the behemoth by in hopes to please the driver.

Ok I've hugged the center line in construction zones. Seems like the ### hole workers dont think about rigs when they put the barriers out. I got 3 inches on the right and super trucker trying to fly through a 45 at 60 in the left lane.

Course I probably make alot of guys mad by taking it slow through tight areas.

I take it at the posted speed and in rare places there being barriers both the right and left the side of the lane being only one lane I go 5 miles less what posted limit due fact it is a bumpy ### road personally hate some these barriers too.
But at no point should you ever cross that line making them come to a stop or get out the way. there are workers who cut the lines shorter then I like some have angles and narrow that are downright impossible to stay in lane Unless you slow below the posted speed limit. May I remind everyone the DOT doesn't care for truckers that said don't think because the posted speed limit is 75 and do it and enter another lane because the sign said you can do 75mph use your common sense.
But then if it was so common I wouldn't have to remember that the worse drivers I encounter are not the 4 wheel drivers but my fellow truckers one example dumb drivers are dumb and expect that professional drivers you expect they will have enough respect for the road to be doing the driving safe manner but in the end a lot these drivers I see rookies, experienced I have seen perform the same.

Well are all accountable for our individual actions as truckers some times we get tired maybe you should be stopped 100 miles ago, or maybe you should have done your GOAL,or slowed down at that curve or exit,
perhaps instead passing that truck for 5-10 miles set your cruise control automatic one or foot one to a slower speed no matter the case when you mess up there's gonna be someone gonna say you are a super trucker, when you stop trying to learn or stay alert you get complacency. As a former welder, pipe fitter, farmer, few others you need to stay alert or get hurt fast.

This is a driver who does not use mirrors and or does not know what to look for if and when he does. I'm still in school and even I know this. You check both mirrors frequently and it gives you your line positioning. Hug that right line, staying off the center line. If this driver learned that and when looking forward, look ahead, he would learn to feel exactly where the positioning of his truck is in relation to the lane he is in. What an idiot, he's gonna kill someone.
