I am currently working with swift leaving on 15th they said they would start me at danny herman at .38 cpm but said they do more long hauls then anyways. could someone tell me the average pay weekly I am a hard runner 3k per week easy peasy for me but .38 seems low they are step above swift compared all bs you put up with swift I just need know am I looking at even a possible 1k week? with them maybe someone post a statement if you work for them if possible feel free black out your name I was gonna work with either pride or national carriers I choose not get involved with either. I prefer dry van if possible I have tanker but no hazmat.

I agree they are probably a step up from Swift. But the pay is garbage. No excuse for starting people in the thirties even if their length of haul is good. Some people are happy with them and i guess that's all that really matters.

I made .38 back in the 1990’s don’t know how they hire drivers for that today!

heres a thought swift would give me a load 600 miles 3 days to deliver on occasion find a load sooner even if you get .42 cpm that average way runs would be horrible the average drivers I see get low end they say 1000 mile runs with that same time frame. who would you get the check from? are there better companies yes, walmart is my end company I lack the experiance but from some drivers say they love danny herman trucking if that happens what more could a trucker ask for?

You clearly don’t understand how many miles and the bonus structure.. I’ll put my Danny herman paychecks up against yours..

It’s guys like you who can’t see the big picture with bonuses..

While you might make .57 a mile running 2k a week.. that .38 a mile at Danny herman is really .50 and running 3500+ miles a week.

I’ll go paycheck for paycheck with you

Danny herman has a makeable bonus structure. That .38 is really close to .50 if you really are a runner. Not to mention, 3k miles is a low week. 3500 is more like it if you know how to run, know how to manage the clock and are aggressive.
Get your hazmat. DHT will pay for it and it’s an extra .01 a mile.. think that’s not much? Basically will pay your cellphone bill off that .01.
You’ll haul a few hazmat loads a year
And get paid for every mile you drive.
