I have a 2012 Cascadia. It sounds alot to me like a PNDB module died. Mine is mounted next to the SAM Chassis on the firewall under my hood. Power Network Distribution Box. The flashing lights you're seeing sound like warning signal programming on the truck. When my PNDB went out, it killed everything. Thought it was batteries or fuse, too. Nope. Dash lights would flash intermittently as well, but, unable to crank the truck. If it's the PNDB, it's about a $500 piece from Freightliner. Gawd, I hate going to freightliner for ANYTHING. It's a plug and play module, no programming required. If you can find it on your truck, put a tester on it and see if it's got power going into it on one side but not coming out the other side. That'd be it. Btw, did I mention I hate having to deal with Freightliner? Good luck. Other than that, I'd say look at SAM Chassis, but, that shouldn't stop you from starting your truck.
