Like many others on here the OP made this sound like SOP at this company. "This will happen, then that will happen, and then finally this will be the result of everything that has happened up until that time" In actuality this is the experience of one person at this company.

I feel bad for his experience at CFI but I don't think you can draw a conclusion on them from one person's story.

No, but there's a ton out there the problem with mega carriers they didn't get that big by doing right by employees, that said there are a few expectations out there but you will need to step up for those jobs like Walmart drivers, UPS, or car hauling few others.
The mom and pops most want already trained not saying you can't find one take little to no experience but they few and far between. Post your experience level in months maybe someone will post a company recommendation Chinatown might point you in better direction be aware some companies may even buy out your contract previous company in exchange you work for said time.

worse case they hurt your credit by default on it. they may threaten to take your CDL away but that's only something only the law could do not them.

I get it mega carriers are geared around feeding and expanding the company, not the individual person. If you're a square peg , you're not going to fit in their round hole of a business plan. Sure small companies can be more flexible, but they can be a minefield of problems to avoid also. I've read more than one story on here about not being able to fuel until a certain Co. payed their bill because the company had virtually no operating capital.

It is all that you the individual need and care to put up with the big carriers some people are content with them others want there seat time and gtfo my goal will be different from yours maybe you want more home time or less, or less money for less headache. everyone is not the same company mottos however rarely change they can but rare.

They have like an 80% turnover rate on drivers (it may have went down since I started in November) of my fellow class members and division there are like a half dozen left, out of 20 something people.
    Your mileage may vary.

Anyone who tolerates a camera watching them constantly is spineless. At some point you have to be a man, and refuse to be treated like a maximum security prisoner. Yeah, they can hammer you with all kinds of petty bs violations, and destroy your record. They figure they can wreck the chances any of their competitors will hire you as a driver. I had 3 hard braking dings over a few months once. The company tried to say I needed retraining. I said welcome to reality. When bad things happen in front of me I have to get on the brakes. Would you prefer I hit the moron who cut me off, or pulled out in front of me ? Then I cleared out the truck, and headed home.

Nor working for companies like that is the best option. Quitting is the second best.

I agree some them will just do there best to hurt driving record one way or another those are one you need to leave asap. inward cameras are a no-no even for me. let us say my current company adds them well it will be two-week notice and me covering it up they can view it outside all they want. But when they want to view inside the cab I take that personal especially when there's another person in there with me as a passenger. They will not see her semi-naked though be honest when it is going down the road the curtain is closed most times she doesn't like people seeing what she does even after I tell her they can't see her.

No endorsements but I can get all of them just news to pay the fee and do hazmat loopholes. I've had relatively high security clearances before and haven't been in trouble so that shouldn't be an issue

Recommend getting as many you can double, triples, hazmat, tanker for starters opens a lot of doors, maybe a passport if you wish to travel into Canada some will give extra pay for this others nothing depends on the company. personally aside from fishing up there, I don't see reason go there.
