Where is everyone #5

Same page, hand. A little background info...

There’s a girl that I’ve known since she was 18. Spanish. Pretty. She was the eldest of 7 at the time, and her mom is a year younger than me. Mom was riding the “#### carousel”, and this girl was doing her best for her younger siblings, so I admire that greatly.

Now, she’s in her mid 30s, and has her 17yr old brother living with her. He had it in his head that since he’s 17, he’s a man and was considering eloping with some stupid girl from school. No job, and still in high school and wanting to marry. So his oldest sis wanted me to talk with him. Fine.

We talked. We also went to the gun range. Just about every girl that I know think that guns are evil. Anyways, in talking, I told him about the duck pond. We also discussed the friends zone and how that is the ultimate in disrespect to a straight guy. I told him that being friend zoned means that the girl you were after put you in her duck pond, but you’re her girlfriend with a pecker. Big sis overheard this and thought she was being funny when she asked me if I was her girlfriend with a pecker. I told her, “Nope. I wouldn’t pursue you.”
(S L A P to the face)

Since then, she’s been on a mission to hook me...inviting me over for dinner, stopping by my house with food...etc. She sent me that modern man garbage because of the part about guns.

While I do admire her work ethic and what she did for her family, she is stupid. Typical young woman who learned everything that she knows about males from TV and music. I, like you, have no interest in anything modern.

 

That was some good reading. I made it almost halfway through it. I wanted to pick a side, but couldn’t. It’s not even close.

I think both of those “modern men” are idiots.

 

You aren't nerding out at all. There's a lot of good information there. I polish my own too, but the problem is it doesn't look as good as yours. It frustrates me, but I have to tell myself, it looks better than when I started. Next time I tackle the job, I may pm you for some help.

Excellent post. You and I are in the same boat as far as wives go. As far as I'm concerned, it's a good boat to be in.

 

I thought exactly the same thing. I thought something was wrong with me because I couldn't identify myself with either one. But then, I honestly didn't give a sh.t if something was wrong with me. I just don't live in that world and don't want to.
