Somebody drank them all!

wow that is crazy 60 hrs sitting for a load offer! my buddy also a Crete driver recently sat for 48 hrs in Jersey before he was offered a load. I've never had that problem in the past in Jersey, hopefully it will pass and things start to improve for us all. good luck to all of us Crete drivers out here.

I got to KC in Chester, Pa. at 1100, the time my load was supposed to be ready. They didn't even have a trailer in the dock yet. I'm still waiting. Dispatch is worthless. They told me the load was ready to go and wouldn't believe me. By the time I get the load my 14 will be nearly up and there is no way I'm going thru Balt and DC this time of day. Guess I'll take it back to the Flying J and spend my 5th night in a row there. This pisses me off to no end.

man, i feel for ya! the old saying "when it rains it pours"

applies here, hang in there cause there ain't much we can do about it. hope you can avoid that area for awhile. good luck

This is the last I'll see of Jersey for a while. I'll have to hear from many drivers over the next few months that it has gotten better before I'll allow dispatch to send me here again.

well guys look at the bright side, ohio is bumping up the speed limit for trucks to 65 in 90 days according to the trucker.com

I ask all drivers to do one simple thing. Average your pay so far into the 13 paydays we have had this year. I did and it was not very impressive.
grossed $834 per week
AND PAYED $200 dollars a week in tax !
netted $632
I work dam hard but am home every weekend except for a two week stretch every two months. I do not think $800 dollars net a week is asking to much. I could easily do that in five days but they have to bog me down to keep me on "average" every couple of weeks. They already know how much payroll and fuel tax I going to "cost" them this year. I'm sure that's in their business plan somewhere in the fine print. This is socialism with it's nose all up in my junk. -
To be honest, I would quit OTR trucking if all I was averaging was $800/week. It's just not worth it to be away from the house for 4 weeks at a time. All I could think about while sitting all week was all the things I could be doing if I was at the house.

To all of you who are sitting and waiting to be loaded, Crete pays you for that time don't they? I sure hope so. Who deserves to sit for free? Not anyone of us I'm sure. If they don't pay, I don't think their as good as what some make them out to be.
