I have an SB-200 reefer unit that continues to lose its prime. I have to manually prime it every time I need it started. It runs fine once it’s going. Can some one please give me some suggestions on what it could be and how to fix it?

There must be a check valve in the line that is leaking back.

When you prime it up,did you remove the bolt and check if the fuel inlet screen is clogged with sludge? Also make sure the vent on the fuel tank isn't plugged with dirt.

Look around at all the fuel lines. Had a sb210 do that, while priming saw fuel coming from the injector return. Replaced the spring clamp with a worm clamp. Problem solved.
