Entirely wrong. You can choose to stay “Off Duty” longer than 10hrs (occasionally I end up doing this when my wife rides along so we can stretch our legs at the store we are staying at). I also choose to extend my workweek and don’t get a whole 48 off. Most don’t do this and get at least 48 off.

 

actually I hardly do grocery loads, only drop stores because they don't unload at 1am. I do a lot of gm and only venders that are open 24hrs, Elwood and Greencastle in loads. Always have to watch that they don't give you a noise restriction store. If they do have to call the roc and have it removed because can't deliver between 22:00-0700

 

You well over exaggerated. Only way you would have just close to 34hrs off is if you extended which is 100% voluntary. The minimum we have off otherwise is 48hrs.

 

More like 58 plus. If you leave Saturday 1900 (my normal time) I don't start back in my truck until 0700 on Tuesday.

 

Im a very clean guy coming from military so i know what clean is. Some of the guys think clean is shining their wheels and leaving all their crap... and yes crap... in the truck week after week. I took pictures just about every week before and after wallace tried to intimidate me about truck cleanliness. Rickey told me to do this from day 1 at least until after my 90 day period. Once i told wallace i had pictures of the before and after conditions of me being in a truck, the 'harassment' stopped. If you want pictures of a truck i took and a truck i refused out of sutherland, let me know. Btw, i never had this issue in mebane before i got my assigned truck. Not all walmart drivers "live" in the truck.

 

Will they do something to the slob that left it like that? Or is it basically suck it up buttercup for you?

 

Typically they will tell the driver to get it together. But as far as how it went for me, they have me a new truck assignment

 

I would hate to be a technician and have to get in some of these drivers trucks...

 

Its equally as bad when it comes to towing one of them and the driver is standing there without shame.

 

Looks like that 90000 is harder to get than promised
