    Highly doubt that.

    1) A POS company like this wouldn't pay to belong to DAC.

    2) LIES are often put on a DAC as 'revenge' and most future employers would or should know this.

    Never pay a deposit. Ever..
The way to quit is to ask home time, clean out the truck, drive it 10 miles away, put it in a no parking zone and leave it.

Also a week or 2 before quitting stop sending in Bols. You will need those as a bargaining chip in case something 'happens'.

What kind of company makes you pay them to work there??? I actually called this company inquiring about what they have to offer, which wasn't much. Talked to the owner himself. Very young guy and did not sound like he had any experience in the trucking industry. He made no mention of a "security deposit".

You know the saying, follow your gut feeling. Mine said stay away after talking to him.

You hit the nail perfectly on the head

If a company requires a deposit to work for them, they’ve definitely had drivers leave. When multiple drivers abandon your trucks then it’s not the driver... it’s the company

I also agree with keeping the bol’s. Companies will make up **** to keep your last paycheck. Don’t fall victim to that bs

Also everyone has different experiences so I never down a company like that and how would you get a security deposit back if you abandoned the equipment.

He gave them a 2 week notice. He didn't have to do that. Then the youngblood that owns the company wanted to charge him to swing by the house so driver could clean out his truck and clean up the tractor. Most drivers don't clean up the truck when they turn it in. This guy offered to.

Like I said in my previous post, the owner made no mention of a security deposit to me on the phone. Probably one of those things he springs on you when you get there. If that's the case, that is some shady business practice right there.

Ryno's health insurance is high for family coverage, no 401k, no detention pay until after 3 hours then only $15 per hour. Can't get a straight answer on the guaranteed pay, is it $1100 or $1300? That is based on 7 days required to be out. So you can do the math per day on that.

They don't have much to offer in my opinion. I'm staying away from them.

1st, NEVER abandon a load or a vehicle, no matter how screwed up the place is.

2nd, have your next job lined up before offering notice

3rd, have your truck cleaned out except bare essentials on your last hometime, and have your next job set up the transportation to orientation from the place you're turning in your truck with a tentative schedule in case there is a delay getting you back to turn in your truck or in case the company you're leaving decides they don't want 2 weeks and route you directly to the office.

And as a backup, always keep enough money available to get home, even if it's on the bus.
