What pisses me off a little is if your 3 minutes over your drive time (like i was once) it's a coaching now whereas with paper you were allowed the 7 minutes over.

GPS strikes again... wonder how far he got into the bush before realizing he should stop and reconsider his options...

If the tractor doesn’t physically pick up the trailer it’s too high... time to get out and crank down. Most dropped trailers come from high hooks.

Im not sure how your comment is relevant here. Wasnt referring to high hooks. His 5th wheel didn't latch. Had he performed a tug, he would have noticed the truck not staying attached to the trailer before it dropped to the ground. Nothing to do with a high hook.

Yea...he came into the dc hooked and everything was fine. He dropped the trailer before it got unloaded then rehooked and somehow made it to the gate before the trailer slid off the 5th wheel. The latch didnt secure properly after looking at his truck. Like i said, no tug test after he initially rehooked to the trailer after getting unloaded. His own fault.
