Werner vs Schneider who is better?

you will never get the best answer. all i can say is if you personally wish to join either one, do your time, learn the business, then move on. not too many people stay at thier first trucking company, but that also (at times) does happen.

with the megas its more about which is "less bad" than "better"

 

Werner drivers are an angry bunch. Been that way for the 19 years I’ve been out here. Schneider is a temporary mega trucking school but at least you won’t spend your life angry at the world. If all you need is a few miles and some experience I would go with Schneider. If the line of work fits you then start looking around about year or so after your start date.

 

The biggest difference is about 5 gallons of paint, you like blue or orange?

 

Schneider is...less bad, as megas go. You at least hear about former Schneider drivers going on to do good things in the industry. You can't say that about a lot of megas.

 

A good buddy I work with used to work for werner doing the home depot dedicated account. According to him he would bring 1100 home, then again it depends on your tax bracket.
