Right on. Parents, as best I can tell, raised me to tell the truth and do what’s right. I missed the part about overlooking their wrongdoings in respect of seniority.

I seem to lose friends over telling the truth. When people complain to me about their situation, I forget I’m supposed to listen intently without offering a solution. After 2 or 3 times, I lay it out - and whammo! One less friend.

I’ll be pondering that thought a while.

I think I need to go back to work.

@4mer trucker is right, I can't count the places we've replaced the copper with PEX.

So much easier on distance to keep a solid section intact.

It's a #### shame it's only what people think they want, and when they're reminded that the truth/honesty of a situation isn't always bleeding over with sunshine they break.

Even better when it's an element of office politics. Work with guys who walk around talking about being "direct" and being "Men", but then they never are. Get direct/honest with them and they melt like butter on a pancake.
