The ticket will go to the company, who will then look to see who was pulling that trailer at the time. That’s when you’ll hear about it.
The only gripe you’ll get is from the company. They’ll just make you pay it. Camera tickets don’t go on your record as they’re issued to the registered owner, not necessarily the driver. -
I put up over 200 red light cameras. Yes you will get a ticket if you were at the white limit line when the red light came on. The ticket will go to your company and they will track down what tractor you were in by the date, time and trailer number. If your really lucky they won't be able to 2 & 2 together. You shouldn't get any points just a fine around $75.00 depending what state you were in. Now your safety dept might have a fit because you were suppose to be slowing down on the amber to stop at the red light, yea we all have been there. I have gotten two tickets by my own cameras I installed back in 2000. Now I drive a tractor trailer and I have gotten one also. Usually the threshold is 11 or 12mph and you can go through the red light without triggering the camera but who goes 12mph, right!
Wha I am really worried about now is the invasion of privacy by putting cameras in the tractor facing the driver. As we speak San Francisco is going to ban facial recognition by law enforcement. Maybe we can ban invasion of privacy with inward cameras in trucks. But the reality is truck drivers don't have the balls to stand down a company. -
you have to fin d out what the legal limit is on the yellow light for that county. Then time the yellow light and see if it is shorter and you might win. Taking a day off for $75.00 is not worth it.

Go to court if you get a ticket. When you go to court ask the judge that you want to question the accuser. The accuser will be the camera. The court will try to say that the picture is the proof. You argue that you have the right to face and question your accuser by law. The court cannot bring the camera into court for you to question so therefore the citation should be dismissed. I have done this in Texas and it is worth it just to watch the judges face.
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
My daughter got a ticket from a camera a few weeks ago in Medford Oregon. She was turning right on red at an intersection after coming to a complete stop. The dummy paid it. I told her to try and go back and fight it because in Oregon they go on your driving record.

Dude I’ve sent so many of those red light cameras off driving a truck it doesn’t matter the law men know we can’t stop fast so they let it go. Remember if it turns yellow and you don’t know if you have enough space to stop just go it would be bad to shift your load for a stupid red light lol. Now don’t be running red lights on purpose like a criminal haha

You won’t get a ticket or even hear about it I’m 100% certain

My question is
If you receive a red light photo ticket in the mail do you report it to the company 1) immediately or, 2) wait and report it on the annual certification, or 3) "what ticket? I don't know what you're talking about."
