I noticed gas city DC is hiring for a night position that says home daily. I'm assuming this is refrigerated? Anyone know what the pay is like? What the coverage area is? Slip seat? Thanks.

It is a perishable dc. We just had a guy transfer from here to the because he's from up there. Don't know much more than that.
-
I remember when the fleet was taking that over the suits had said there would be day cab positions.
I wouldn’t imagine skip seating would be that tragic if you’re going to park it every day... -
from what I hear when I roll through that D.C. Is that it's a twelve hour shift so you can get the truck back for the next driver. Not sure on the pay part but I would assume it would be a little less than an otr driver since you don't work as many hours and no layovers. As far as area covered I would assume Ohio Michigan Indiana anywhere that a local driver would run

Could be making adp. They are not making less than otr up there.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Good point I never thought about that guess that's why they say never assume something
-
Regardless I would think it's still the highest paying local gig around and probably the best vacation time just starting out with a company. If you don't mind running nights I would give it a shot.
-
I'm in there every week haven't heard anything about ADP pay.

They have much longer runs too like gordonsville. They may not even need it up there. Between there and the dc opening in thomasville ga, guys are jumping on it to get in.

I ran refer for 3 straight days last week out of there. Honestly I wouldn't make it here very long if that was my everyday job. Low miles long waits at stores and dealing with bulk heads 6 times a load isn't fun.
