I dont know him personally, but read his posts and @Chinatown is always on here helping guys. I think of him as a stand up guy and don't care how he makes his money. This industry needs more like him that are trying to help others. Not the guys that just say don't do it.

 

FFE has a terminal in Winterhaven and Miami.

You know I don't know how you got your CDL personally don't care, but everyone has there method school I recommend to anyone over through company school better experience overall.
That said some can't put money upfront for that school some have no money to there name. How many jobs you know that requires little school and not have to pay a Dime upfront, then there's the nothing in life free. You sign to stay with them normally 1-2 years stay or leave after that and your out no money and you were paid in training or should have if not someone make have broken a few laws and can be sued.

check your state require some different how they have be paid. Off chance you had a relative or good buddy teach you with there truck test in there truck only way I see it being free. Not many people can do this.

Most these mega carriers don't care your reasons and will take anyone getting a CDL some like example Stevens transport are paid by military train soldiers get there CDL through there seen a few do this. I am sure theres other company military do this with. But that's just it they wont send the military to a place with a bad ratio of failure getting cdl they give comprehension info getting you in the door for you to obtain your CDL so well.
back on topic chinatown give him the info like you want OTR well he can give you this but if you don't redefine where its be anywhere terminal gotta mention I want based out say Dallas Fort worth area he gives you a number of places. your job is to go down the list he says if there is a big list see which is a better fit for you. He take time out his life help don't like mega carrier maybe tell him maybe he can find a smaller one goes back to redefine it because He doesn't know what you want.

 

Sometimes the rub is "X OTR experience in the last X years".
I honestly don't think you'll have a problem.
Indian River and Cypress are pretty big in that part of the world.
