Well, then you’re not acting in a truly honorable, honest fashion - if your goal is to drive another of the bosses trucks that I’ll assume is more to your liking.

I/we had pretty good luck with companies by keeping whatever we were given in clean and tidy order, washing it ourselves - eventually they’d just hand us a brand new hood.

20190527_134654.jpg Talkin to my mom today as we celebrate the holiday and she tells me the barn that I have was built by my great grandad in 1867 not including the shed. That was built by my dad from scrap lumber he gathered up. The barn was also built from reclaimed lumber. Other than the roof sagging a little this barn is as square as the day it was built ! Hope I can live up to their standards ! Even the water well at bottom left was hand dug and bricked and mortar all the way down. 40 ft to water line another 8 ft of water.

A little off topic, but why waste a great chance to sidetrack? My loud sister-in-law is back under my roof for a short stay lately. Long story, but she's someone that knows everything and can't be told sheet. Anyway, one of the hundreds of occupations she's had was driving mine trucks near Ft Mac in Alberta. So now she thinks getting a class A and doing OTR will be an adventure and easy money. Knowing her, it's a toss up she gets fired for cussing someone out or flips out over a scumbag co-driver/trainer. I tried to tell her what a bad idea this was and that the recruiter was lying about the money, but she ain't hearing it. She's determined so I just let her run her mouth about it and tell me how wrong I am. Bless her heart.

Don't take this the wrong way. I love my sis-in-law but she's a bossy ol cow that has to run everything. I'm kinda looking forward to hearing how bad this is gonna go LOL.

A few years ago my bride and I took both her sisters to the range. The loud one mentioned above actually did really well, despite wearing coke bottle thick glasses and never having touched a firearm in her life before picking up my S&W .40 auto. It's why I've invested in safes.

Definitely. Good for you to introduce her to firearms. Hopefully a new shooting enthusiast will emerge.

I think everyone should at least be educated and experience firearms, even if only the basics. Even people that may not enjoy shooting or ever want to own a firearm.

Hot outside, they stood in the sun, took a couple selfies, and then started rubbing each other down. The guy is toothless and has a bad comb over. He then starts rubbing ice on her chest.

Is this some sort of advertisement?

Kinda what I was thinking. When I drove for someone else, I wouldn't touch it without the boss's go ahead.

Make the call, tell him what's up, inform him of my ability to repair or what the best options I can give him are. Let him make the call.

It's his truck, he's the boss, his decision. Even if I think it's a stupid decision, not my place to try and be the boss when I'm not.
