    Trainer arrived ,1 day wait really expected it to be longer with such a large class, really happy with the trainer i got we have made a couple of short runs so far he has a new Pro Star nice truck hope to get one myself some day. We delivered to a food warehouse man what a wait to get unloaded hope i dont do too many of those. Usa has another large class right behind us. No one had to wait more than a couple of days for trainers not the norm with other companies from what i hear, so far so good.

    had a USX daycabber i know from working at USA tell me (HIS buddy is a trainer) his buddy called him this AM said they laid off 400 drivers. had him bring his student back to term to be sent home.
    don't know how true as this guy talks alot LOL

    i think the number was closer to 200.This happened back in December.Guys that consistently delivered loads late.Not like we are the only company cutting back.I think the majority of companies have scaled back some due to freight demand being slow

    I have seen no evidence of a layoff since the one before the first of the year, if any thing USA is hiring maybe to replace those layed off i dont know but they are still filling up orientation classes right now.

    There were definitely a lot of people here... I graduated today too. I'm gonna have to go to Memphis to meet my trainer. I'm excited to get started.

    next monday is mi orientation in van bouren for usa,i need some tips for orientation,my buss ticket is from indianapolis to ft.smith arkansa. i have to call a taxi to get to van bouren terminal on sunday arrival?or i have to call usa terminal to get to the terminal?
