Agree, #### the government. There's no freedom in this country. You're constantly being watched, monitored or listened to in one form or another.

I’ve seen more stupidity since the elogs. Drivers all speeding through construction zones. Very unprofessional anxiety driven behavior, nothing good about it. Being on a treadmill, can’t stop!!! Can’t sleep!!! Gotta go!!! Sounds like a crappy job to me. I won’t do it. Just accepting it and being pushed to the limit, has turned one of the best jobs into a prison on wheels.

Just yesterday I saw big rigs roaring down US 41 towards Green Bay, Wisconsin, at over 73mph and it's only 65mph until you get to Green Bay.
Never really saw that before. And I worked out of Green Bay, for about 5 years.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
"I also have a feeling that in a couple of years, when everybody has decided this isn't so bad it could be worse, and thinks eld's are normal, they willl start recording our speed and the dot and other law enforcement will be able to check it with the logs and issue tickets for speeding too."
My company officially goes from AOBRD to ELD Monday morning, all this info and more will be available during an inspection once the switch is made. -
ELD's of some sort have been around for years. That's all most of the truckers know these days. They wouldn't know what freedom was like.
Werner started in 99.
Then they find a local job and don't want to do the job because they can't think how to function without the ELD.
Some will even try to do the local job in the same manner as otr in regards to hos.
