If you send in 14 hours on your go home day, that's what it will be like. Always cut it down 2 hours on your EWW. Never failed me out of Sutherland.

Yup. That’s a regular habit of mine except I work off 11 on EWW. Not 14. I don’t want to work 14 hour days. So far nobody’s ever said anything.

And yeah, the ROC totally dropped the ball last week.

    Look for it.

7000 trucks in the fleet I cannot be the only one seeing it.

Anyway, NTransit becomes self aware and decides we’re all a threat at MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

So this weekend should be fun...

Every credible scientist warns against artificial intelligence.

Corporate bean counters who think they can save a penny are all over it like their first girlfriend in a movie theater.

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

So I got to this shipper last night with just enough time to grab this load and make it into Washington Court House.

My ten hour break ended an hour ago. They “just started” picking this load.

So in this instance would you get paid your dwell pay plus your layover for sleeping in the truck?

    TransplantBadger Thanks this.

I think UT ends when you start layover and resumes when layover ends.

    Correct.

I got one hour UT either side of my ten hour layover. The ROC finally pulled me Saturday morning.

I grabbed an empty and headed to the gate to let the guard do his thing.

“Did you check out with the office?”

    “No sir.”

“Well you’re supposed to do that.”

“The load was ‘supposed’ to be ready last night. I am leaving.”

“Well I need to call and see if that trailer is as assigned to a load.

“Well it’s empty so I’m sure it’s easily changed in a computer and would even take less than 12 hours. Do you want to check if it’s empty?”

“You can’t leave, they’re going to be very mad.”

“They’re not as mad as I am. Have a nice day.”

I locked the trailer and left. I did not throw a fit nor was I unprofessional.

I got to the red light about two minutes later and the phone rang with a W. Jefferson, OH number that I ignored.

Security guards are the bane of a drivers existence.
