I saw a vendor at MATS a few years ago that offer a chrome plated aluminum wheel, but I don't have the info on them.

    They are out there tho.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

They looked good, but the old man's would rust up pretty easily. I can smell the turtle wax chrome polish...

Why not polish them, and get them clear coated? Or just buy Dura-brite wheels?

Polishing is for chumps, and I polished plenty of wheels, even company truck wheels, but chrome wheels are the way to go. Little more expensive, but a quick wipe, they look great again. Yep, painted tanks, like my Pete in avatar, and chrome wheels.

Why not just get steel chrome wheels.
    And be done with it.
