If you're pulling reefers, don't worry about the economy affecting you; it won't, unless you have a lazy load planner.
shatteredsquare, Lepton1 and tommymonza Thank this. -
You would hate running the country I love running.
Most of the alcan had no cell service at all when I ran it, probably places that does now.
none of the cassier had it, but that was just 450 miles.
The haul road until just recently just had it 20 miles from both ends, it now has it for a few miles in the middle 250 miles from town and for 5 o6 6 miles at galbreth, 350 miles north of town. lol
We do not depend on the phone much. lol
Back when I ran the alcan, I came home and my wife was all proud, she had got ne hooked up with satellite radio for the truck. lol, nope, no satellite up north. lolCabinover101 and Opendeckin Thank this. -
Cabinover101, D.Tibbitt, Lepton1 and 12 others Thank this.

I'm under a $1500, 350 loaded miles load now with 150 deadhead miles. Backed up with a $600 195 miler right back home. What's that? $2,100 for 695 miles. Don't even have to spend the night away from either, which is nice
Not everyone's ship as sailed...yet LOL.Truckermania, LoneRanger and spyder7723 Thank this. -
Your are hearing that there is a recession coming from the fake mainstream news media. What a coincidence , all this is being spewed right before election year.
Yes I heard also.freight has slowed.a lot down south
I have sat more the past 2 months than I have in the past 3 years. I think we are just undergoing an adjustment, it will pick back up in August more than likely.shatteredsquare, Motorholmes and Chinatown Thank this. -
Those working the load boards- forget about it. -
Verizon has been phasing out some of the service my old flip phone gets. I don't have as good in some places I used to, and it will not have service in a lot of places the new phones does.
