Anybody drive for them? I know they are a flatbed company out of Rushville Indiana. I’m looking Into them and don’t see a lot of info on them. I called the recruiter and he said they offer a 1400 week guarantee if you’re available to work and scan your paperwork in. That’s over 70k a year guaranteed. If you drive for them do they honor that? How are they? I’m reading good reviews online. I don’t know if I like their small Mack trucks I see and I know they have an inward facing camera which I’m not crazy about. Thanks.

I dislike the word guaranteed. That means a list of gotchas and got you don'ts.
Now if they paid that salary without question each week, I'll do whatever they tell me to do.KB3MMX Thanks this. -
This may be of some help

Thanks captain obvious. I was wanting to know about their 1400 guarantee but I didn’t find it on the search.

I am not sure about the $1400 guarantee, but I know someone who recently went to work for them. The base CPM is low, but they pay you extra for pretty much everything you do. Open the conestoga, paid, close the conestoga, paid, doing a 34 on the road, paid, layover time, paid, detention time, paid....I think everything but picking your nose and scratching your butt is paid on top of mileage pay.
The down side is, yes, driver and forward facing cameras (driver facing only records in the event of a critical event trigger). Also, lightweight spec'ing on the truck. His is a mid roof with 1 150 gal fuel tank. And his usual outbound loads are coil(s), sometimes steel, sometimes aluminum. Also your truck is married to your trailer unless there is a maintenance or repair delay, then you pull a different trailer until your assigned trailer is fixed. So, that means a lot of live loading/unloading.Ajaz0810 Thanks this. -
I use to be a company driver for them. Now run my own truck and leased on to them. What do you want to know?
It is the best company I have ever worked for .Ajaz0810 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply. Is the 1400 guarantee a gimmick? Or is it true? I talked to a recruiter and he said that all you have to do is be available to run loads for a set period of time and scan your paperwork in. It can’t be that easy. What if I’m in Pennsylvania and have to shut down at 5 cause there is no parking on a Monday? Or if I take a 11 hour break instead of 10. Just curious if there are any catches to that 1400 guarantee. Thanks

I know a little about it. They started that guaranteed minimum towards the end of me being a company driver. I know the guarantee is different depending on what Lane you run . I did Kentucky to Chicago and my minimum was only 1300. East Coast is more. I used the minimum one time. my truck was broke down for three days and stayed at home and still got paid the minimum pay. I know to get it you have to scan your paperwork and have a good production grade . But it mainly is there for helping out if you get detained at a customer or if your truck breaks down.Ajaz0810 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the response. Last question. Why are they greatest company you’ve ever worked for? Thanks again

They have always got me home when I needed to. They worked with me if I ever had a issue with anything. They left me alone for the most part. If ever needed anything they were there to help me out. Very rarely do I wait on a load. Most the time I get my next load the night before I drop one off. They try and go on that family atmosphere, and I think they do a pretty good job with it. Not everything is perfect, but what job is?Need4Speed and Ajaz0810 Thank this.
