I believe the star of at least a few of those videos is a Russian driver they nicknamed "The Bulldozer". Gawd, sometimes it's tempting...

 

Never seen a FedEx truck that wasn't trying to be the fastest guy on the interstate. Them and OD are about the worst as far as speed goes.

 

If one is driving like a maniac everyday in order to get home and be with family but dies in a fiery crash and never sees family again. Because of it. Isn't that some kind of Canadian Alanis Moreset irony?

Yeah those fedwreck guys are always driving governed speed regardless of weather rain snow or ice.

The answer to your question is, it's a barrier to keep water out. Probably a floor load .

 

New driver area forum not experienced. The OP might not have a CDL. Or fresh out of school. Not everyone without a CDL knows. I know when I was on the outside looking in I didn’t know or paid close attention just like the general public.
