Voodoo Pyg Thanks this. -
I was a former PAM driver. Started teams and then solo. I made about $500-$600 a week. But I had to stay out to do it. Tried to average 600 miles a day. But I did get a letter saying that there is a class action lawsuit against them for there wages

Did you have to pay them back school? -
Yea true they pay the lowest, but they give you the best equipment. My 2019 Peterbilt is like a spaceship compared to anything Warner or Swift can provide and PAM is really only worth it if you have your Hazmat which gives me a bonus and +0.08 cent per mile. There’s a reason they tell you to get your Hazmat when you join with PAM. With my Hazmat I make as much as Swift and Warner AND have better equipment AND always get a load because I get paid regardless if I have one or not.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Ummm, I'm by no means defending PAM. I pretty much think they're scum. They have a terminal right down the street from our yard in North Little Rock, AR, but $300 is not correct. For one thing, that doesn't even equate to minimum wage, which would be illegal. And, before one of you know it all brainiacs come in here and says "trucking is exempt from minimum wage", HUSH. You don't know what you're talking about. Ask May Trucking. They got the urine sued out of them for their $60 a day "student" program years ago because it didn't meet the Federal Minimum Wage laws.
Lonesome, Veteran driver and Bumper Thank this. -
Poverty And Malnourishment strikes again!!

Don't they pretty much just do "auto parts" anyway?
Gotta be the Most Boring account to have-plus the most stressful.
Laredo,Tx to Detroit or Ohio Would just plain suck moving car parts......Being bombarded by a million other trucks and containers-
