    You say extra driver as if we are 2nd class drivers. I know of a few guys that went on the extra board so they can start on Mondays.

    We're not. Im back on extra because they moved tbe truck i had to a start time i didn't like. Now im back extra. Still home everyday. Slip seating isn't bad when you have close to nothing to move. It makes more sense for guys like myself to slip going home each day anyhow.

    I havent had an unpaid day off since i got here and last year a bad ice storm prevented me from getting to work for 3 days. And i have 2 weeks on the books as of right now.

    I haven’t heard of any drivers at my DC(6080) ever getting sent home due to no work

    2 reasons. One is because they need to update it at the computer so the optimizer sees each truck correctly and two because some guys assume they are done and push out their time manually for the next day having plenty of time to run.
